1. THE YUTIQAA DISPATCH PROMISE
At Yutiqaa, we view the journey of our masterpieces as a “Conductor of Heritage.” Shipping is not merely logistics; it is the final act of stewardship before an artisanal creation enters your life. We treat every consignment with the reverence it deserves, ensuring that the distance between our weaver’s loom and your doorstep is bridged with precision and care.
- The “Anticipation” Philosophy: Every shipment is tracked by our Exclusive Concierge.
- Processing Windows:
- Catalog (Ready-to-Ship): To respect our 24-hour Cancellation Window, dispatch for catalog items occurs only after this period has elapsed. Expect your masterpiece to leave our studio within 48–72 hours of order confirmation. Please note: Once this 24-hour cancellation window closes, the order is locked into our logistics queue. Any cancellation request received after the item has been prepared for dispatch or handed to the carrier will be treated as a Return, subject to the terms and restocking fees outlined in our Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy.
- Artisanal (Bespoke/Made-to-Order): These pieces require a variable “Artisanal Buffer.” Because they are hand-woven or hand-dyed specifically for you, timelines are dynamic and will be clearly communicated on the product page and during checkout based on the specific weave complexity.
2. DOMESTIC SHIPPING (INDIA)
We provide comprehensive coverage across India, including Tier 2 and Tier 3 heritage clusters, through our “Gold-Tier” logistics partners.
- Cost: Shipping within India is Complimentary for all orders, regardless of value.
- Transit Time: Standard delivery ranges from 3–7 business days depending on the proximity to our Odisha studio. Express Delivery (with an extra charge) will be 1–2 business days.
3. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING (GLOBAL)
Yutiqaa serves a global community of patrons across the US, UK, Europe, Australia, UAE, and South East Asia.
- Cost: We offer Complimentary International Shipping for all orders exceeding $500 (or equivalent). For orders below this threshold, a premium flat fee is applied at checkout.
- Transit Time: Global delivery typically takes 5–12 business days, subject to regional hub efficiency.
4. CUSTOMS, DUTIES & TAXES (THE “SEAMLESS GLOBAL” CLAUSE)
To maintain our 0.1% luxury standard, we eliminate the complexity of international trade for our patrons.
-
- The DDP Default: All international orders are shipped as Delivered Duty Paid (DDP). Yutiqaa calculates and collects all applicable import duties, VAT, and local taxes at the point of purchase to ensure a premium experience.
- Country-Specific Guidelines:
- United States: Yutiqaa operates under a comprehensive DDP model for all fifty states. We utilize automated nexus-tracking to calculate State and Local Sales Tax in real-time at checkout, based on the destination zip code. This ensures compliance with the Wayfair ruling requirements for remote sellers. For high-value artisanal imports exceeding the $800 de minimis threshold (Section 321), Yutiqaa acts as the Importer of Record (IOR). We manage the formal Customs Entry and prepay all applicable processing fees and duties, ensuring the Patron faces zero administrative friction or secondary billing from the courier.
- Europe (EU & UK): In accordance with the EU VAT e-commerce package and UK HMRC regulations, Yutiqaa collects the destination country’s specific VAT rate (e.g., 19% for Germany, 20% for the UK, 21% for Spain) at the point of sale. For orders exceeding the €150 threshold, we handle the comprehensive Customs Clearance and prepay the applicable “Third Country” duties. This “Duty Paid” status allows for expedited “Green Channel” clearance at major hubs like Frankfurt, Paris, or London Heathrow, moving your masterpiece directly to the final delivery leg without customs delays.
- United Arab Emirates (UAE): For our Patrons in the UAE, we incorporate the 5% Value Added Tax (VAT) and the applicable Customs Duty into the checkout total. As part of our luxury concierge service, we manage the electronic filing of the import declaration with UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) protocols. Our logistics partners are instructed to prioritize “Direct Delivery” to residences or offices in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and other Emirates, ensuring the Patron is never required to visit a customs office or pay additional “Statement of Charges” upon receipt.
- Australia: As Yutiqaa is an international merchant, we comply with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) regulations. Goods and Services Tax (GST) is applied to all low-value imported goods (valued at AUD 1,000 or less) and is collected at checkout under the DDP model. For items exceeding AUD 1,000, Yutiqaa manages the formal import entry and applicable duties to ensure a seamless “to-the-door” delivery.
- South East Asia (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam): * Singapore: We account for GST on all imports. Orders exceeding the de minimis threshold (currently SGD 400) are processed with full duty and tax transparency at checkout.
- Malaysia & Thailand: Regional Sales and Service Tax (SST) or VAT is calculated based on the prevailing local rates and included in your final DDP total.
- Vietnam & Indonesia: Due to complex local luxury tax regulations, Yutiqaa utilizes specialized couriers to prepay all statutory “Luxury Goods” taxes, ensuring the Patron faces no administrative burden upon arrival.
- The Doorstep No-Surprise Guarantee: You will not be asked for additional payments or “handling fees” by the courier upon arrival. Your transaction at checkout is final and inclusive of all landing costs.
- Safety Valve: While Yutiqaa makes every effort to ensure all duties are prepaid (DDP), in rare instances of local administrative changes, if a Patron is contacted by a courier for additional payment, they must contact our Concierge immediately rather than paying directly, to ensure our DDP guarantee is honored.
5. UNDELIVERABLE REGIONS & PRE-PURCHASE VERIFICATION
To ensure the security of high-value cargo, we have specific delivery restrictions:
- Pre-Purchase Verification: Patrons must verify delivery feasibility by entering their Zip Code/Pin Code using the Zip-Code/Pin-Code validator on the product page or at checkout.
- AI Chat Support: Patrons can consult our AI bot (available 24/7) to confirm if your specific address falls within our secure courier network.
- Restrictions: We do not ship to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or freight forwarding hubs. A physical address and a valid recipient signature are mandatory for all Yutiqaa deliveries.
6. ORDER TRACKING & COMMUNICATION
We keep you connected to your masterpiece throughout its journey:
- Digital Telemetry: Real-time tracking is available through the Yutiqaa Patron Portal (Patron account dashboard).
- Concierge Bridge: For any transit-related queries, our concierge team provides live updates via WhatsApp and Email, ensuring you never have to navigate automated carrier systems.
7. ADDRESS CHANGES & REDIRECTS
For the protection of our patrons and to prevent luxury cargo fraud, we strictly prohibit address changes or redirects once a package has been dispatched from our studio. If you are unavailable, please contact the Concierge to arrange for a “Secure Hold” at the courier’s local facility.
For International orders, address redirects are strictly prohibited by carrier security protocols once the ‘Export Manifest’ is filed. Patrons are advised to verify their ‘Final Destination’ address at the time of checkout.
8. DELIVERY ATTEMPTS & FAILURE TO COLLECT (RTO)
- The Attempt Protocol:
- Domestic: Our partners make up to 3 attempts to deliver your package.
- International: Attempt counts (often 1–2 attempts) are subject to local country laws and service provider standards.
- United States & Canada: Our logistics partners (DHL/FedEx) typically follow a 3-attempt protocol. After the final attempt, the item is held at a “Secure Collection Point” for a maximum of 5 business days. If the Patron fails to provide the OTP or collect the item within this window, the RTO process is triggered.
- United Kingdom & European Union: Strict local labor and logistics laws usually limit delivery to 2 attempts. If the Patron is unavailable, the item is redirected to an “Access Point” or local depot. Per EU/UK consumer protection alignment, if the item is not claimed within 7 days, it is returned to the Odisha studio.
- United Arab Emirates & GCC: Due to the high-security nature of residential complexes in the Gulf, a 2-attempt protocol is strictly followed, often supplemented by a “Concierge Appointment” call. If the Patron is unreachable, the item is returned.
- Australia: Our logistics partners (e.g., DHL/FedEx) typically adhere to a 2-attempt protocol. Under Australian consumer law, if an item is not collected after these attempts, it is redirected to a local depot for a 5-day holding period before being flagged for RTO (Return to Origin).
- South East Asia: Attempt protocols vary by city-state. In Singapore and Malaysia, 2 attempts are standard. In regions with complex last-mile geography (e.g., Indonesia/Vietnam), a single attempt is followed by a mandatory “Concierge Intervention” to verify a secondary delivery window before the RTO process is initiated. All RTO costs for these regions include the non-recoverable regional luxury taxes paid at the point of export.
- Return to Origin (RTO): If a delivery fails due to multiple missed attempts, incorrect addresses, or refusal, the item will return to our Odisha studio.
- RTO Cost Implications (Global): For all international regions, if an item is returned (RTO) due to Patron non-availability or refusal:
- The original Outbound Shipping Fee is non-refundable.
- The Return Logistics Fee (often 1.5x the outbound rate) will be deducted.
- Non-recoverable Duties/VAT: Since Yutiqaa prepays these to foreign governments under the DDP model, these amounts are strictly non-refundable and will be deducted from the Patron’s final credit.
- Costs: RTO logistics for international orders involve significant re-import duties and shipping fees. These costs, along with any non-recoverable taxes, will be deducted from the refund as per our Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy.
9. INSURANCE & TRANSFER OF RISK
- Transit Insurance: Every Yutiqaa shipment is 100% insured against loss, theft, or damage during transit. This cost is absorbed entirely by Yutiqaa.
- Transfer of Title: Ownership and the risk of loss pass to the Patron only upon the successful physical delivery and signature at the designated address.
10. THE “WHITE GLOVE” DELIVERY EXPERIENCE
- Packaging Integrity: Your selection is placed in a moisture-resistant luxury inner packaging- Product box, which is then secured within a high-strength, nondescript corrugated Delivery Box to protect the Product box & deter theft during transit.
- OTP Verification: For your security, all deliveries require a Digital OTP Verification (sent via Email, SMS, or WhatsApp). We do not allow “Safe Place” or “Front Porch” drop-offs for high-value consignments.
- Box Damage Protocol: Upon receipt, please inspect the Master Box. If the box is torn, crushed, or compromised:
- Take clear photos and a video of the damaged packaging. The video must be a single, unedited clip showing the condition of all sides of the box before the delivery is refused.
- Refuse the delivery and do not provide the OTP.
Immediately notify us via the Patron Portal, email care@yutiqaa.com, or contact your Concierge and upload the photos/video.
